Who we are
Schröder + Heidler GmbH was founded in 1991 in Sehmatal-Neudorf in the Ore Mountains. What began with a refurbished barrack and four injection molding machines is now a modern company with over 5,000 m² of production space, more than 115 employees, and a broad range of services.
Our focus is on the development and manufacture of technically demanding plastic components. In doing so, we combine toolmaking, injection molding, 2K technology, and assembly under one roof.
We rely on long-term customer relationships, short decision-making paths, and a high degree of flexibility. Our customers come from the automotive, electrical engineering, consumer goods, and mechanical engineering industries.
Through continuous investment in machinery, automation, and employee development, we have grown steadily over more than three decades—without losing sight of our core values: quality, reliability, and collaborative partnership.
Our history – over 35 years of plastics expertise
Von der Gründung in einer umgebauten Werkstatt bis zum modernen Produktionsstandort: Unsere Entwicklung zeigt, dass Beständigkeit und Innovation kein Widerspruch sind.
1991 – Foundation and establishment
Schröder + Heidler GmbH was founded in 1991. Within just a few months, we refurbished our first production site, hired employees, and launched injection molding and toolmaking operations—with four machines and a great deal of enthusiasm.
1998 – New building in the industrial area
With the move to a new facility in the Sehmatal-Neudorf industrial area, we gained 2,000 m² of production and storage space. 3D CAD, BDE systems, and new machinery marked our transition to a modern industrial company. Continuous expansions followed, bringing us to over 5,000 m² today.
2015 to 2025 – Certification and growth
With certification according to ISO/TS 16949 (now IATF 16949), new markets opened up, particularly in the automotive industry. Fully electric machines, automation solutions, and a 162 kW solar system underline our commitment to efficiency and sustainability.
2025 to today – Rebranding and strategic direction
With a new brand identity and a completely redesigned website, Schröder + Heidler is positioning itself for the decades ahead. The focus is on clearly defined industry solutions for automotive, electrical engineering, consumer goods, and mechanical engineering—combined with the expansion of digital processes and sustainable manufacturing at our Sehmatal-Neudorf site.
