Who we are
Schröder + Heidler GmbH is a toolmaking and plastics technology company in Sehmatal-Neudorf in the Saxon Ore Mountains (Erzgebirge). Since its founding in 1991, the company has produced technical plastic components by injection moulding and builds the required injection moulds in-house – from prototype to high-volume series, including 2K/multi-component injection moulding, subassembly assembly and the transfer of existing moulds. The machine park covers clamping forces from 50 to 400 tonnes; the focus is on precise small parts in series production.
More than 115 employees work on over 5,000 m² of production space at a single site, so that toolmaking, injection moulding, 2K technology and assembly interlock without interfaces. The quality management system is certified to ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 (TÜV SÜD). Customers come from the automotive, electrical engineering, consumer goods and mechanical engineering industries in Germany and Europe. Sahi Khader has been Managing Director since September 2025.

Our history – over 35 years of plastics expertise
From our founding in a converted workshop to a modern production site: our development shows that continuity and innovation are not a contradiction.
1991 – Foundation and establishment
Hermann Schröder, an entrepreneur from the Sauerland, and Klaus Heidler from Neudorf founded Schröder + Heidler GmbH in 1991. Within just a few months they refurbished the first production site, hired employees and launched injection moulding and toolmaking operations – with four machines and a great deal of enthusiasm.
1998 – New building in the industrial area
With the move to a new facility in the Sehmatal-Neudorf industrial area, we gained 2,000 m² of production and storage space. 3D CAD, BDE systems, and new machinery marked our transition to a modern industrial company. Continuous expansions followed, bringing us to over 5,000 m² today.
2015 to 2025 – Certification and growth
With certification according to ISO/TS 16949 (now IATF 16949), new markets opened up, particularly in the automotive industry. Fully electric machines, automation solutions, and a 162 kW solar system underline our commitment to efficiency and sustainability.
2025 – Handover of management
Daniel Heidler, Managing Director since 2014, hands over the management to Sahi Khader, a graduate engineer in plastics technology with more than three decades of industry experience. The succession was prepared early so that customers, staff and suppliers keep the same contacts and processes.
2025 to today – Rebranding and strategic direction
With a new brand identity and a completely redesigned website, Schröder + Heidler is positioning itself for the decades ahead. The focus is on clearly defined industry solutions for automotive, electrical engineering, consumer goods, and mechanical engineering—combined with the expansion of digital processes and sustainable manufacturing at our Sehmatal-Neudorf site.
Management
Sahi Khader has led Schröder + Heidler GmbH as Managing Director since September 2025. The graduate engineer in plastics technology brings 33 years of experience in plastics processing – in production, toolmaking and company management. He took over from Daniel Heidler, who ran the company from 2014 to 2025 and arranged the succession early.
What does not change with the handover: site, workforce and manufacturing depth remain as they are – toolmaking, injection moulding, 2K technology and assembly under one roof in Sehmatal-Neudorf, certified to ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
